She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Florence (Bodmann) Zilch. In 2014 she retired to the motherhouse in Fond du Lac where she continued to serve as a volunteer at St. Agnes Hospital and St. Vincent de Paul store while also extending hospitality through prayer, letter-writing to family and friends, creative cards, and reaching out to anyone in need. Sister Rose Andr received her BS in Elementary Education from Marian College, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, in 1962, and her MS in Education with an emphasis on the Montessori method of early childhood development from Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1980.
