Camp Pride is a day camp for developmentally disabled children, adolescents and adults. The Amy Yee Tennis Center schedules reservations and court rentals for the Center and the 100+ outdoor tennis courts in the Seattle Park system. Next to Garfield Community Center, this 25-yard indoor pool features a rope swing, low diving board, separate shallow section and sauna. Week 1: Tide Pool Adventures - July 3, 5-7 (short week), Week 5: Passport to Puget Sound - July 31-August 4, Week 6: Pacific Northwest Wonderland - August 7-11, Week 8: Forest Friend Finder - August 21-25. At Nature Play Camp, we visit the four habitats of the park - beach, pond, meadow, and forest - and end the week with a pint-sized festival! Park'n It Day Camp and Leaders-in-Training Program. Children ages 3-5 will enjoy outdoor recreational activities and educational learning experiences such as arts and crafts, music, drawing, and story time while making new friends. Morning and afternoon snack will be provided. Camps offer recreational games, arts, crafts, environmental education and hands-on science projects. We also offer Mommy (or Daddy) and me camps for parents and children together.
